Book a corporate driving tour to celebrate & motivate.

Last week, Drives At Mile High hosted a corporate customer rally showcasing our Exotic Line and a spirited drive through three counties. This was a perfect day to experience the changing seasons.

Let’s recap this route and enjoy the fall scenery that spans across three Colorado counties – Jefferson, Boulder, and Gilpin. In total this is about a 4 hour drive, so plan accordingly (time management, extra clothing, etc.).

Time to head out with the team! We are looking forward to this…

The Mineral Ventures Driving Circuit

A great circuit with an appropriate time frame not far from the city. Ask about our other tours too!

Our drive begins along Highway 93 heading north. We love how the landscape changes within just miles!

Getting all the cars to drive together was a challenge!

The ‘first stage’ we pass through is a local community called Coal Creek, still along Highway 93. Have you driven through here before? It’s pretty spectacular and lets us flirt with ideas of moving away from the city. There are some great houses in the steep canyon, and the flowing creek is a truly relaxing atmosphere. In the winter months, however, this area gets a lot of snow. These exotics must look outside and check the weather before getting out on the road!

This drive is fairly technical; on this section it’s best to feel the car respond to the many curves and switchbacks. Of course, safety is always number one – and please remember there is often traffic here.

Heading down to Nederland for a stretch & regroup

This is approaching the ‘second stage’ of our driving and sightseeing tour. Take the opportunity here to enjoy the suspension, sounds of the exhaust, and engagement of the gears as you make your way along to our destination. This is an equally invigorating and relaxing drive at the same time – you cannot lose!

Pulling into Nederland, we convene at the Park-n-Ride as it is the most convenient spot for linking up again. Depending on how the group is feeling, we can stop for food and a beverage or two, then continue on.

Boulder and Gilpin counties provide us with beautiful landscape views, technical driving, and fun spots for enjoying a bit of mountain living.

Fresh air and open space are just why we are here.

Entering central city & Black Hawk

Now you will understand why we call this our Mineral Ventures Driving Circuit!

On ‘stage three’ of our tour, we finally enter the tucked-away National Historic Landmark District flanked by steep mountain walls. This is a roughly 300-acre area that opened in 1859 during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. Central City and Black Hawk are old gold mining camps established side-by-side. Take in the different architecture styles and people watch in these bustling little spots.

As a last stopover, we get out for some R&R at the Isle Casino Hotel. Lunch at the Farmer’s Pick Buffet is inclusive and also includes a $25 gambling credit to our Drives At Mile High customers. Enjoy more benefits than one when you book a drive with us!

On The Return

Driving back is always bittersweet! We have made some great memories and joined in fun conversation along the way. Thank you so much for joining us! Please drive with caution as the sun will likely be set at the rally’s end.

If this drive peaked your interest, let us know! We would love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have. Our pleasure is serving you and providing the best service in the industry. Please call us or click the booking button below to start going and get the drive rolling.
